Our School
History
Bloomfield Collegiate School originated at the beginning
of the last century as a small private school for girls and boys. Since
then it has grown and flourished and the Preparatory Dept has always been
an important and much valued part of our school.
In 1968 the Prep moved to its present purpose built
accommodation . The classrooms are arranged around an attractive
central hall which is used for dancing, concerts, various sports activities
and gymnastics. Each classroom has its own cloakroom with access to both
the central hall and the playground.
