Confident and Happy Pupils
Bloomfield Prep takes special care in the development of self confidence and social skills through a wide range of activities including public speaking and drama. All pupils are encouraged to play an active part in the annual Christmas and summer concerts. The success of this approach is perhaps best measured by the most common response of parents when asked why they chose the school... ‘We were so impressed by the girls who showed us round at open day – self assured, polite, happy and proud of their school ’.
Sense of Community
It is clear that the parents of our girls are motivated to give their children the best
start in education and their enthusiasm carries over into the school’s supporting organisations
– PTA and Friends of Bloomfield Prep.
These two committees provide a wide range of social and
educational events for parents, friends and pupils alike. Examples include a Christmas Fair,
Quiz Night, Barn Dance, Fashion Show, Summer Fun Night and Art Exhibition adding to an outstanding community
spirit that all enjoy.
In addition our annual Summer Scheme provides enjoyment for the children and a break for the parents during
July and August.
